INOVASIA is committed to maintaining the content published and alerting readers to changes through the application of the CrossMark icon.

What is Crossmark?

Crossmark is a multi-publisher initiative from CrossRef that provides a standard way for readers to locate the authoritative version of a document. At INOVASIA, we understand the importance of preserving the integrity and completeness of the scholarly record for researchers and librarians. By applying the CrossMark icon, we aim to uphold the trust in our electronic archive. Clicking on the CrossMark icon will inform the reader about the current status of the document and may also provide additional publication-related information.

INOVASIA Content and Crossmark

The CrossMark icon will be displayed on current and future journal content. However, please note that articles published as Articles in Press or Online First will not have the CrossMark icon at present.

Specific Publication Types Include:

  1. Addendum: Published if authors inadvertently omitted significant information during manuscript submission and wish to add this content to the article after publication.

  2. Corrigendum: Published when authors realize that errors in the published article could affect the validity or accuracy of the scientific content.

  3. Erratum: Published when mistakes are recognized in the published article, which went unnoticed during the editing and layout process (e.g., figures, tables).

  4. Papers, Preliminary Notes, Notes, etc.

  5. Correspondence: Letters to the editor or replies to letters.

  6. Book Review: Reviews of published books.

  7. Removal: The abstract/text and PDF are removed, and an explanation is provided for removal.

  8. Replacement: The article is retracted, and a link to the corrected re-published article will be placed on the PDF versions of the paper and the page with the retraction notice.

  9. Retraction: The abstract/text of the article is retracted, and the PDF will be retained with a watermark on every page to notify readers that it is retracted.
