This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model using Crossword Puzzle media on students' chemistry learning outcomes. The learning outcomes measured were cognitive learning outcomes in Colloidal System material. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi Experimental (pseudo-experiment). The population of this study is all students of class XI IPA MAN 2 Mataram spread across 3 classes. The sample used consisted of two classes, namely class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as a control class. The research design uses Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design where Pretest and Posttest in the form of multiple-choice written tests and descriptions are used to measure and compare students' cognitive learning outcomes in both sample classes. The statistical analysis used is T-Test analysis or Independent Sample T-Test. Based on the results of the study, the average score of the experimental class was 82.09 with a completeness of 76.32%, while for the control class, an average score of 74.23 was obtained with a completeness of 43.24%. Based on the analysis of the T-Test or Independent Sample T-Test at a significant level of 5%, the significance value of cognitive learning outcomes was obtained of 0.03 which was smaller than 0.05. This shows that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) proposed in this study is accepted, namely the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model using Crossword Puzzle media has a significant positive effect on chemistry learning outcomes.
